What do our Digital Marketing Managers do? 
 
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing search engine optimization (SEO), content development, and brand engagement work tied to several internally-managed Rentokil North America websites. This will include ongoing review, editing, approval, and search optimization of content produced by the Digital/ Online Marketing team. The person in this role will also support migration of acquired companies’ digital content to key company websites.  Additional responsibilities will include management of social media network activity and brand reputation builder programs run by the Digital / Online Marketing team.
  • Drive return on investment (ROI) across key focus areas: technical SEO, brand reputation building/ reviews generation, and social media marketing
  • Understand SEO best practices: technical considerations, on-page and off-page factors, as well as how social media benefits organic search visibility
  • Define and implement the company’s local search strategy to target ‘high volume search’ locations by delivering content via a hyper-local search approach (to include local search analysis, local market signals, local directory listings, retargeting, and targeted social promotion)
  • Guide strategy behind online content development projects that can deliver the most value for the business
  • Help develop better understanding of best practice SEO and strategy amongst marketing category leaders and digital/online team members
  • Help define ‘audience first’ digital content marketing strategy through application of your analytical insights and understanding of audience purchase behaviors
  • Perform ongoing analysis of website performance and market trends to inform lead conversion optimization activities across websites
  • Track and monitor the performance of local competitors across organic and paid channels and ensure that local market websites include best in class functionality
  • Help expand on functionality, and monitor results of North American website campaign pages
  • Oversee social media strategy, performance monitoring, and delivery of reporting to the Business
  • Manage program to improve customer sentiment through online reviews generation
  • Consult with local marketing managers for best-practice SEO that can be applied to independently-run acquisition brand websites
  • Guide team’s online project plans to fruition and adhere to tight timelines for delivery
  • Manage to key performance indicators (KPI’s) set for role. Correlate & communicate ROI off managed activities
  • Play a central role in managing Google My Business / local online directories optimization
  • Create and execute efficiently on project implementation plans to achieve both operational excellence and business results. Follows up consistently to ensure accountability to plans
  • Utilize existing tools to identify and prioritize communications and filter communications to the organization across the company. Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective marketing communications
  • Oversee one or two direct reports responsible for social media and brand reputation management

What do you need?
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing or Digital Marketing preferred
  • 3-7 years of digital marketing experience
  • Proficiency in SEO and associated tracking and monitoring tools; particularly around keyword targeting and local search positioning. PPC experience a plus.
  • Experience analyzing website-related data from 3rd party vendors and turning into actionable insights
  • Have strong project management and time management skills
  • Able to manage and guide direct reports
  • Navigate a matrixed organization and build strategy
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have knowledge of digital and social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, AdWords, etc.)
  • Apply a customer and ‘end user’ focused approach
  • Be intellectual, curious and tenacious with creative problem solving techniques
  • Adapt to fast-paced change environment of a growing organization
  • Be self-motivated
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2007 or later, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Google Suite, especially Google Drive and associated programs frequently used at Rentokil North America
  • Available to work Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with infrequent overnight travel as needed
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
