Landscape Manager
 
 
What Do our Landscape Managers do?
 
Landscape Managers facilitate and provide a world class level of customer service by our team members and utilize best practices, products and/or procedures.  They build the business by planning, designing, ordering, and managing larger interior and exterior landscaping projects to completion.  They also train, coach, and provide support for plant specialists.
 
  • Cultivate existing and new business relationships
  • Field contact and trainer for Plant Care Specialists (PCS), Exterior Technicians and Installation teams
  • Initiate and schedule plant replacements/plant orders
  • Share responsibility of warehouse operations
  • Manage and assist with Holiday preparations and installations as needed
  • Communicate across departments to ensure smooth business operations
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist and participate with route management as needed

What Do You Need?
 
  • High school graduate or GED, college preferred
  • Extensive experience in the interior and exterior landscaping industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends, best practices, and design
  • Supervisor level experience in a customer focused environment
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Success in training, mentoring, and coaching service professionals
  • Ability to multi-task, analyze situations and develop proactive responses with strong organizational skills
  • Significant plant knowledge including the ability to identify many specimens both tropical and local
  • Comfortable with computer applications
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
 
Physical Requirements: The team member may be required to perform one or more of the below functions on a day to day basis.
 
  • Climbing: Ascending or descending stairs, step ladders or ramps
  • Reaching: Extending arms and hands to reach plants on multiple levels
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at the knee to get to low level plants
  • Crouching/stooping: Bending the body forward and downward by bending the leg and spine to reach low level plantings
  • Walking: Moving about on foot for long periods of time to accomplish tasks
  • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something, notable water tanks
  • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug at objects such as plant containers
  • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position such as moving planters from place to place. May be required to life upwards to 40 pounds.
