Primary or Key Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Responsible for maintaining Network and Telephony Service Delivery on a day to day basis. Monitor and assign Incident/requests within Service Now ticketing system to team members and ensure team is meeting SLA’s
  • Monitors and reports on team service performance and metrics
  • Follows Rentokil Change Management process, participates and represents team in weekly CAB meetings
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation of Network and Telephony architecture and operational processes. Ensure Service Now and global team drives are current.
  • Oversees BAU resource utilization in all projects and programs.
  • Participates in feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, design of digital/analog networks, and evaluation of network services/technology for current and future network development.
  • Carries out agreed operational procedures, including network configuration, installation and maintenance.
  • Identifies and coordinates resolution of complex network problems following agreed procedures. Uses network management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out agreed network maintenance tasks.
  • Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.
  • Acts liaison between organisation and vendors. Collects and reports on supplier performance data.
  • Creates reports and proposals for improvement and contributes to the planning and implementation of new installations and scheduled maintenance and changes within the system.
  • Ensures network capacity meets current and future network requirements including planning for remote hardware and communications facilities, implementation of methodologies for system analysis, installation, and support. Defines and develops methodology to ensure compatibility of all software and hardware products at each facility. Provides ongoing coordination in the analysis, acquisition, and installation of remote hardware and software.
  • Participates in on-call rotation and out of hours maintenance.

Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Some flexibility in hours is allowed with prior approval from department head, but the employee must be available during the 'core' work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must maintain full-time status.
Less than 10% travel may be required. 
The person in this role must be able to read, write and type English, as well as clearly hear, understand and speak English.
