What is your role?
Our Project Architect is a part of the Project Development Team and is responsible for managing green wall projects from bid solicitation to close-out. They prepare estimates, quotations, construction documentation, and scheduling through the life cycle of each unique living green wall project as well as develop & maintain relationships with Owners, Developers, General Contractors, and Design Professionals.
  • Provide consulting, technical guidance, and design solution services for living green walls to architects, owners and other design professionals
  • Read and interpret construction documentation (plans and specifications) provided by clients and utilize that documentation to prepare estimates, quotations, and bid packages for living green walls
  • Interface directly with clients, architects, engineers, and general contractors via telephone, conference call, WebEx, email, and in-person meetings to discuss details of green wall construction and provide specific requirements
  • Provide hands-on project management from project award through, full construction documentation, scheduling, installation and close-out
  • Prepare architectural plans and construction documentation in CAD to detail green wall systems, including fabrication, anchoring and attachment of systems to building structures
  • Coordination for structural, MEP, and lighting to support green wall systems
  • Provide calculations and communicate water requirements of pressure and flow rates using formulas provided for direct building water supply and re-circulating irrigation systems
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and review internally scope of work, project schedule, contracts, and change orders with other associates in the Project Development Team

What do you need?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent combination of architectural experience, education and training
  • 1-2 years of relevant project experience
  • Must be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
  • Valid driver’s license/clean driving record
