Residential Sales Specialist
 
 
General Summary:
Sells pest management services to homeowners to achieve required performance outcomes. Supplements company-provided leads through own creative efforts. Maintains organized and thorough records of sales activities. Submits sales reports as expected or requested.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications - Required:

Read, write, speak, and comprehend English

At least 18 years of age

Legal to work in the U.S.

Possess high school diploma or G.E.D.

Reliable transportation to and from work

Available to work required days and times

Acceptable MVR and Background report  
Basic Qualifications - Preferred:

Two year college degree

One plus years sales experience

One year experience in the industry

Required Credentials/Certification(s):

Obtain and maintain State pest control registration

Required Knowledge:

Reading, writing, and speaking English, and basic mathematics

Communication technologies such as IPhone, e-mail, web

Organizing and prioritizing tasks and time

Common business software (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, web)

Treatment regulations and safety procedures

Prospecting and the residential sales process

Predominant pest pressures and treatment alternatives

Required Skills:

Reading, writing, and arithmetic

Organizing and managing time

Inspecting and diagnosing pest problems

Creatively generating sales opportunities

Proposing, presenting, persuading, and closing

Required Physical Abilities:

Sit, stand, walk, hear, touch, talk, write, type, smell, drive, crouch, crawl, see close up and far away, use handheld computer, use computer monitor and keyboard, ascend/descend a ladder, use small hand/power tools, lift and carry up to 20 pounds, and tolerate heights, confined working spaces, and variable weather conditions

100% Documentation of accurate sales activities reported in DSAR

Paperwork completed according to company requirements, state regulations and submitted as required

90% of assigned accounts are less than 90 days past due

Sales person's chargebacks are less than 5% of overall sales completion.

Maintained State Registration

Email address collected on 90% of new business
